Hey my friends,

I decided to live in Fiji and I found here my second home. They've got beautiful islands, you meet people from all over the world and everything is more chillaxed than anywhere else in the world. And not to forget: No one is in a rush and everything needs more time. That s Fiji time.
BUT...!!! Now the truth...
They kept me at the airport in Nadi on Saturday evening (12.08) and I was not allowed to go back to New Zealand. I'm still wondering why they didn't accept my visitor's permit. They wanted to see a Visa or my flight ticket that proves that I've got a flight ticket back home to Germany. Unfortunately I didn't have the flight ticket (Auckland-Frankfurt) with me. The helpful, but slowly supervisor of the airport tried to do his best. Ghinder the supervisor said, when I'm able to tell him the number of my flight ticket, he'll let me on the plane. So I called my flatmate Ray in NZ, already burst out into tears, and told him to find my ticket. The plane was still waiting for me, but when I got back (five minutes past eight) Ghinder said, "Sorry Miss the plane is gone".
It was hard to keep control and not loosing the last nerves. I was crying and asked him to call the pilot and to stop the plane. "No Miss, I m sorry the plane is in the air". I explained him that I will miss my next plane on sunday from Auckland to Frankfurt when I can't hop on this plane, but there was no chance...the plane was gone. So I spent almost the whole night to organise new flights and in the end everthing worked out quite well. I had to pay some money to get a new flight to New Zealand (Wellington) and I'm so happy that it was also possible to change my missed flight from Auckland to Frankfurt. My flatmate Brooke cancelled the flight for me on Sunday morning (Thanx heaps for that!!!...and for your support!!!). I changed the flight yesterday and I've got a new date now. 23.08. from Auck. via Dubai and arrive on the 24.08. in Frankfurt. I'm in Wellington now and it's actually not the worst thing that happened to me. I'm really happy about that, because it's such a lovely city and I'm glad to stay here for a couple of days. I stay here at a friends place. It's a great flat here on the Mount Pleasant Road with an awesome view!!! The only bad thing is that I'm freezing my ass off. Twelve degrees in the kitchen and living room. It just seems to be that they never have heard about building real houses (Sorry my Kiwi friends, but thats the truth). But anyway have a mean time here and enjoy myself. See you soon back in Ham!!! and in Germany or whereever...
